Specialist Outpatient Cancer Centre

In May 2022 CSM was commissioned by GenesisCare and Prime Plc to design a world-class cancer centre in Guildford, Surrey. Having previously worked with GenesisCare on several projects, CSM had a great understanding of the client's commitment to the life-saving impact that well-designed facilities have in improving the patient outlook.

We were asked to design a fit-out scheme within a pre-designed two-story building shell on a location near Royal Surrey Country Hospital. The design was centred around creating a state-of-the-art facility that provides patients with access to the latest treatment options for cancer as well as remaining flexible to accommodate new treatments as and when they become available. 

One of the main considerations of the project was each departments medical equipment and proximities, we proposed a layout that would meet both GenesisCare Workflow and Patient Journey requirements.
