Medical Diagnostic Centre - Sheffield
Utilising design to implement a dual-purpose cutting-edge medical diagnostics centre to serve both professional athletes and NHS patients.
CSM architects were approached by Canon Medical Group and DD Porter Ltd to design the internal fit out of the diagnostic centre which is part of the Sheffield Sharks Arena. CSM Architects were involved in the Sheffield Sharks' new £14 Million Arena.
The facility was created in collaboration to serve as both a 2500-capacity arena paired with a cutting-edge medical diagnostics centre, designed to serve both professional athletes as well as NHS patients.
The centre features a range of state-of-the-art facilities such as CT and MRI, diagnostic ultrasound, digital X-ray as well as a minor surgery operating theatre, consulting rooms.
We were able to provide architectural design as well as technical design to accommodate for the unique equipment and build.
